What need does the ATEX expertise address?
Since July 1,2003, the ATEX (Explosive Atmospheres) 1999/92/EU and 94/9/CE guidelines are mandatory throughout the European Union. The first of these guidelines gives the minimum requirements for workers’ safety required to work in potentially explosive atmospheres.
